Yep, I have life insurance... But seriously... Don't try and persuade them that it isn't dangerous because it is quite simply is. You can however, be as responsible as possible and take all precautions to make it as safe as possible. If you can show your parents that you are mature about this and admit that it is dangerous (even to yourself) then the better prepared you will be in case something goes wrong.
