true, it would be popular, but every call out thread got out of control in a hurry. Quite simply there was too much drama related to call outs, they rarely accomplished what they were supposed to, and ended up in flame fests 98% of the time. We don't have the man power to regulate it, and the negative energy from it spreads to the other forums. We are trying to "focus on the positive" as the commercial goes and make the site a pleasurable place for enthusiasts of ALL genres to enjoy.
Yes, you've even banned a few people I thought were cool folks, but after thinking about it all they did while on TR was flame other people and cause trouble. Through the elimination of a few I have seen a great reduction in flames in certain forums where the same old drama would play itself out over and over again. It is kinda depressing because some of them are cool folks in person but it seems to keep the board on a more pleasant path.
