Yeah id give it a shot, its worked great for me, you just have to put the belt on a little differently, loosen up the bolt that holds the tensioner arm pull the arm outwards a little bit, and pop it on the hydraulic tensioner with a large screwdriver or a prybar. I have gone through 3 different engines in the past 4 years, and have used the same tensioner, with the same socket.
