all i have to say is before dual cams became the hottest thing this side of Japan, everyone was saying the same thing about them and how unreliable they were.
Funny isn't it?... I too was part of that crowd many years ago. I started with the SR20DET's back in '99 when a buddy and I dropped one into my '96 nissan hardbody pick-up (
http://www.sromagazine.com/cars/profiles/truck/). My last project, with the help of some great (at the time experimental) tuning from Enthalpy, dynoed 397WHP & 380lbs. SR20DET's are well built, stout engines. Time for something different though... Up until 6 months ago, Id never driven a 240 with a KA. I'm converted! The torque curve on these engines is phenominal! Stock, with a little timing adjustment, mine dynoed 120WHP and 127lbs!!! I can only imagine the fun a T28 or T3 with moderate boost will bring. Actually, I should know here shortly...

KA-E's are cheap, sometimes free, and have proven to be reliable. So go on and hate on the single slammer... I can pick em up cheaper that way...
