That just means you aren't leaving hard enough

I've heard of Auburn's crapping out in one day at the drag strip. Appearantly if you spin both tires together they'll hold up, but the minute you get one wheel spinning and one wheel not they will cook.

I personally like the Torsen style, but I'm not sure who makes one for an 8.8. My buddy had one in his 4th Gen F-body and that was a nice unit. Quiet, predictable, won't wear out, and flat out worked.

Of course if money weren't an issue I'd put an air locker in, but I think for my weekend driver V8 car I'll put a Detroit Locker or something similar in since I don't care if its loud and abrupt.
