Yeah, its fishy.
First off, the picture is of a 929RR, not a 900RR.
Secondly, in 2003 (like the post says), the CBR was a 954RR.
And 296 miles? Yeah, ok.

Only way to really know if its legit or not is to call the person and meet up with them.
If theres a clean title, hell, i'd buy it.
