There is a factory manual download floating around on the web. When I picked up my '05 I downloaded the '04 manual from a guy on this site. Maybe he'll offer to let you download it as well. If not, just google for it.

As for the white connector, no clue. Perhaps it's some type of electrical tape storage zone?
