both can make good power... if im not mistaken, all the big s/c setup's are twin screw... kenne bell for cobra's, AMG s/c on mercedes E55/SL55/S55 etc...
positive displacement blowers have instant boost, huge torque output, and power generated low in the range...
they have a different power curve than a centrifugal s/c... a centrifugal s/c has a linear powerband... it will need maximum rpm's before it makes maximum HP... a good example are the S2000 kits...
