Yeah, I tune my carbs ALL the time. Tuned the carb on the Harley... once. Tuned the carb on the Camaro... once. Oh wait, I tuned the carb on the Cadillac twice because I rebuilt it and didn't get it quite exact with a bench tune.
Wait, my Honda bike had four (4) carburetors on it. I had to sync them two or three times while I owned the bike and tune them once. I also swapped the aircleaner and exhaust pipes out though, so I think that's justifyable.
On the other hand, my FI Camaro freaked out, missed, wouldn't start, and basically sucked shit because a $20 sensor died. $20 sensor, no big deal right? Yeah, except it was behind the harmonic dampener and I had to take half of the front of the car off to get to it!
Let's not forget my OL's TA with 100k miles on it missing and hesitating because of some unknown computer problem. My sister's Monte Carlo with TBI throws all sorts of engine codes and runs like dog shit because of some kind of sensor freakout. My pop's '95 Mustang GT, FI, sucks, has computer problems. See the trend here? Fuck computers in cars. They're unnecessary and just bring up the cost and complexity of repairs.
