The source can't always be determined, and there aren't always right or wrong answers. Fortunately, from reading this thread, an educated user should be able to decide for him or herself.
There is a right and wrong answer and that is as I posted.
Water lines will never hurt if you use them but they are not needed.
I have a evo16g on my Galant and I have the water line hooked up.
The only reason I am using them is because it was easier to just bolt them on then remove all the water lines.
