hmmm, now you have me wondering. I thought it would need a high pressure switch to tell the compressor when to cycle and a low pressure switch to keep the compressor from burning up if there is a refrigerant leak (and to cycle the compressor I suppose) You would probably know more than me though.
The s/n 95s have a high and a low but the older cars only have the the low pressure switched.
Most of the time when you have to "re wire"

one you can jump the hot wire in at the hot side of the low pressure switch and all is well. You wouldn't believe some of the shit I get here.
