) the water lines are there to let the turbo live when people who don't know anything about turbo's beat the piss out of the car and shut the motor off. If you stay out of boost for about 30 seconds before shutting off the car, water lines will do NOTHING for you. You can quote all the tuners and sources you want, but I know this to be fact. No turbo larger than a T3 comes with coolant lines, yet people are making insane numbers in alot of applications, how do you explain this? 2000hp twin turbo cars and there's not even any coolant in the MOTOR much less the turbo.
I myself run my T4/T3 hybrid (with no coolant provisions in the center section) for 2 years at 22lbs and the turbo feels like brand new.
