Mitsubishi is getting better though IMO, their new ads are alot better. They are eliminating slow-selling models and sales picked-up last month without gigantic rebates.
On a quality level my mom owned a 99' Pontiac Montana van that would mis-fire occasionally for no reason and the dealer would look at us like we were retarded. The airbag like came on when it felt like it, it ate through a set of brakes by ~35k miles IIRC. My dad has owned a 98' F150 since 2000 and has has zero problems with it other then a passenger side window motor.
