Best D-series block?
I am attempting a motor swap in an older car. I have pretty much rulled out the B-series as being able to fit. I will probably be stuck using a SOHC D-series due to lack of depth in the engine compartment and mating it to an 89-91 Si tranny. What is the best block to build for an all motor (no room for turbo or supercharger) and possibly nitrous setup? What VTEC head would be best?? I am planning on wiring the car as ODB1 inorder to use a P28 or Hondata. If I can fit the 90-93 Teg DOHC D-series into the car would it be better than the single cam?
