auto trans interchangeability?
I currently have a non-working powerglide in my 69 Nova.
I thought about putting in a junkyard trans
until I get time to take the Pow-Glide apart and fix it.
Engine is a 250ci 6 cylinder. Does anyone know if the bolt
pattern is compatible with a 350 or 400 auto transmission?
I presumed that with a new torque converter,
any GM auto trans would fit the engine block;
and all I would have to do is adjust the shift linkage.
Any thoughts on driveshaft length compatability?
