Also, do you have any desire to be up near the 300whp mark? As you stated earlier, it's pretty much a track only car as it is... What's stopping you from being the best? Or trying to be? I have no doubt, because of your setup, that you have the drive, and the ability to be one of the top power producers in your class. If not the best.
almost all drag headers are a 4 to 1 burns style collector that has a pipe conected to it that flares to a larger diameter the longer it gets. see pic below. keep in mind the 270+ motors are not cheep to build almost completely custom parts. most of my parts are off the shelf parts and not top of the line. like my rods i use eagle h beam. if i had the extra money id of bought some crazy light rods. to make big #'s you have to be sure all the parts complement each other. i dont have the money to try a handfull of parts to see which makes the most power . im sure my setup will see a new set of cams in its future (sk2 pro2) . the main reason i went to a full exhaust this time is because i hated my car when i was runing my near open header exhaust( cherry bomb w/turn down) . i never wanted to drive it. i decided to run full exhaust on this motor even if it cost me power just so i would drive it. to sum it all up my car is still a street car i want it to look like a street car even if it is only driven at the track. if i race someone i dont want to hear them say " i dont mind loosing to him because his car is a full race car". my car is just a big toy, and i love running it at the track i just wish i could do it more often.
