both side mounts didn't line up. The transmission mount from a B15 SE lines up.. using a 2000 model VQ30DE and 5spd tranny. This means, that a VQ35DE, using a VQ30DE 5spd tranny, will bolt up on the tranny mount in a B15 SE. Tranny mount would need to be welded in for a specV, no biggie, but even better is the 6spd VQ35DE tranny should bolt right up since they are the same tranny for both engines. The passenger side mount, and crossmember both have to be modified. however, it's nothing major, and could be done in a weekend, with a good welding machine and torch/cutting tools. (per Trav4011) The axles... on the passenger side... you will need to use a 2000 Maxima axle and Spec V axle.. they will need to be put together, at the CV joint right next to the axle carrier bracket. It's a bolt in affair.. No info on the drivers side axle yet. There's plenty of clearance on all sides.. including the radiator.. You'll even be able to keep the A/C! SE radiator works fine too
