Well at that ET level you are running 107-110 MPH traps with a well tuned car. Compare that to whatever trap speed the car you are running does. The roll just eliminates traction issues. You still have a car that runs well into the 100 MPH traps. If your current car ran a 100 MPH trap speed and your DSM ran 100MPH trap speed it would be neck and neck. Get the idea? The bonus of AWD is a low ET from little MPH. Average from a roll but absolutely deadly from a stop on the street. The car you are running may run 1.8 60s at the track but where are his slicks on the street? None. So he now cuts probably at the best a 2.2 60 if FWD or a 2.0 or a little lower RWD. Hell even from a roll at lower MPH FWD and some RWD have traction broblems all through 2nd maybe some of third. You will have none at that power level. Bigger turbo and you wil have traction problems though. Ive heard stories of guys breaking loose all 4 in second gear...but I doubt youll have that problem.
Maybe Im wrong here? Anyone? Anyone?
