If you look at the big picture if your going to make something all motor the ls motor no non vtec anyway is the way to go. It can run a bigger came lobe the whole time, Like the v8 guys do. Instead of having a sissy cam lobe down low and a big one up top.
I migh take up a vtec killer project some time in the future. But thats just a thought and i have tomany of those already.
HUH???? actually, vtec is a pretty perfect solution to the low end/high end power problem found in v8's.... a lot of overlap is not good for low end power.... so why not have the good low end and midrange of a smaller cam profile, and ALSO have a killer top end with more overlap?? I think this is why honda developed something that'll give you both... i think it's called....... vtec? vtec killers are good for power above like 6,000 rpm's for race conditions only, where you're always between 6,000 and 10,000 rpm's....
