Just do a compression test and as long as everything is in working order I say go for it. Id stay away from the XSpower stuff and instead of 370s id go with some DSM 450s and a resistor box. As for the intercooler JRC has some pretty nice units for cheap. Also, as long as its tuned you should be fine. Stay away from FMUs and look into Crome or Uberdata.
