The compressor trys to come on and then my car jerks. It was real cold then slowly went less cold but still cold not as cold as I wanted it. Should I try to let some out or take it some where where they can? Also the condinsation that leaks out would leave a hudge puddle under the car after I turned it off and park.
The compressor trying to come on and not being able to or jerking the car could be caused by being overcharged
or undercharged, not just a bad compressor. The only way to accurately tell is to have someone actually put guages on it and see what it is doing, just letting a little out by yourself may get it to where it works, but the only way to be sure it is charged properly and there are no clogs/other problems is to take it to a shop and have them check the actual readings on both the high and low sides. I would recommend trying someplace different than the one that got you in this mess in the first place
