thrust bearings dont cause rodknock, rebuilding a nissan motor in 98 degree weather does. those motors are tolranced for 68 degree temps.. i mean, i would assume once you remove any bearing caps, you replaced them with new bearings... and also plastigauged, etc... but thats just the delicate way of thinking i have... you know.. the part that doesnt allow me to half ass shit.
