I believe it's 8 gauge (about a little bit wider than 1/4" thick) for the main power wire to the amp. That wire is fused at 25 amps. The "Amp hookup" kit it came in said it was good for up to 400 watts... err.... 400 something. Like I said, not good with audio systems.
