okay, the jdm swap is a good idea, but the engine that you get might b fucked. If you plan on getting a shop to install it then you are covered by their "broken engine warranty". If you put it in yourself I can guarantee the place you the engine from won't honor your warranty. I got a jspec engine/tranny 1150 shipped to my house, Dropped the engine in, hooked everything up started the car, runs awesome, 92 compression all around with a reciprocating engine compression gauge. The turbo started to go, so I will be rebuilding that $300 from turbocity. The o-rings can b fucked though, from sitting years and years open to the elements in a japanese junkyard. Get a 13bt core, rebuild it and you could have a fresh engine.
