Congrats, if someone already hasnt done intake gaskets yet, be prepared to do them soon. Thanks to good ole GM dex-cool and their plastic intake gaskets, they start leaking at the corners after a few years, long before the 5 year/100k mile life of the coolant. We have seen some cars where the coolant ate the metal a bit. Other than that the 3.1/3.4 are decent motors other than that late flaw.
