Upper Timing Chain Guide:

Tools needed: 10mm socket and ratchet, possibly new valve cover gasket.

Procedure: Start off by marking the spark plug wires (1,2,3,4) and removing them from the spark plugs. Then remove all bolts from the valve cover (11 I believe on the DOHC). Lift off cover, using leverage if needed. At the front of the engine, bolted on top of the timing chain, is the timing chain guide. Remove the two bolts and throw away the guide. Replace valve cover with new gasket (or with old if you don't buy a new one), replace all bolts (hand tight, don't muscle 'em too much), and spark plug wires in order (1,2,3,4).
