turns out, now that it is all said and done, the transmission wasnt venting... so basically when it was getting hot and building up pressure, the only place for it to go was its easiest exit point, the pan gasket. Thanks for all your help, the trans rebuilder made good for it and im very satisfied, so all worked well.
