There are always cheap ways out but theyre just that. Everything for cars like turbo Supras turbo RX-7s 3000GT VR4s etc. is expensive. Just as an example (for my 3rd gen): intake was $500 cat back exhaust (Racing Beat) was $600 pulley $250 and on and on. Turbo kits are usually around $3.5K to $4K without $1.5K in fuel upgrades and another grand for miscellaneous stuff. None of those prices include installation. Not a cheap habit but its fun.. high prices kind of comes with the territory.

Cars like the MKIII and FC3S single turbos are usually cheaper for bolt-ons but its still no Civic prices. My 90 RX-7 turbo had $4000 in the engine alone (rebuild/street port).. I think the full 3 exhaust was about $800 for that one though.

At least youre doing some research into this kind of stuff before you buy. Its always good to have a plan so its not a shock later
