1996 acura integra.

first off, i need two a/c lines replaced. i tried welding one where the puncture was but that didn't work. then i tried to fit a high-pressure fuel line over it and that didn't hold either. is there anything else i can attempt before purchasing new lines?

second. i can feel a slight knock coming from the cylinder closest to the battery. i feel it when i put my hand on the top of the spark plug wire. what does that mean?

also, the exhaust is loud as hell. starting from the front of the car, it has headers, gutted cat, straight pipe where resonator used to be, and an aftermarket can exhaust. what can i do to get rid of the raspy sound and make it quieter? i like a deep tone, but this one sets off car alarms.
