If you put more pressure to the stock injectors they will flow more, that is the way it works. Most people don't realize that. they think that if an injector is rated at say 450 that is all it will flow. while you where running lean before did you have a fuel pressure regulator? If you did you could have turned up the pressure and gotten more fuel, to a point, that point is when the stock fuel pump overheats and dies.
Then the 255 comes into play, it loves to flow lots of fuel, in fact with my 450's at idle I can not get the fuel pressure below 40psi. I would assume your 255 pump will behave much the same as mine, so you will get more fuel flow even with the stock injectors, if you put it back on the dyno you can see how far you can take that extra fuel as far as boost and juice.

As far as matt having his t-tops off, that's his a.d.d. havin fault, run what you brung or don't run at all.
