Yeah Ive seen a lot of people splicing into their windshield washer/sprayer lines and using an underhood switch that diverts that water to either the windshield or intercooler. You can use small garden sprinklers as the nozzles too. Its not as convenient as an sti sprayer cause you have to flip the switch everytime you want one or the other, but Ive heard they work well. There should be a good write-up on what parts to use etc., on one of the mazdaspeed protege boards if youre interested.
