It depends on whether you are running serpentine belts or V-belts. V-belts get a clockwise pump, serpentine gets counter-clockwise. The pilot diameter refers to the "tit" on the end of the shaft where your fan bolts on. If you don't have the fan yet or are running electric, it doesn't matter.
