What do you mean by "sink into the dyno and stop pulling"? Was the car maybe running out of fuel or air? Maybe it was just starting to lay over. I've never seen a converter drag a car down on a dyno like that. Especially at 7500rpm. Usually when a converter starts to come together, the horsepower goes up, not down. Whould be interesting to find out what is happening.
