its incredibly easy, 5 hour job max. i dont remember the exact procedure on lt1s, but its a pushrod..its probably easy as fuck.
all you do is take a picture of how everything looks.. then pull it all apart.. then look at the picture to put it back together. just make sure you have a torque wrench and the specs handy.
if youre still too scared to replace a little piece of fiber that sits between the head and block, then make a post on cz28 and offer to pay someone to do it. or ls1.com or any chevy board. guarantee they'll charge at least 300-600 less hell i think most would do it for $200 and under, probably free.
