97 cobras use everything the 03s use, BUT 96-98 cobras have the fuel system 99-04s need to run over 500whp

get some 03 rods/pistons for around $600 TOTAL, and the motors bulletproof

it's a Teksid, the Italian block, its far stronger than 99+ aluminums.. never heard of a Teksid splitting under boost

i tried selling it with blower and full setup for 13k and got no bites. 10k for a 97 cobra w/76k is a tiny bit below the norm $ wise, youll find them for 11k usually
