Default oil press problem

Ok i just built a 347 its a 91 block that was bored to the pistons all new cam bearing and freese plugs crank was cut 10/10 childs and allbert rings file fit. With an HV oil pump i built the motor my self i checked all the clearances everything seamed fine. started the car over a week ago i've been driving it for about 6 days did an oil change yesturday morning and drove it over to my boys shop to show him it. He asked me if he could take it for a ride he took it down 49th Street. and came back with like no oil press. Not sure if he did something or not is there something else i can do or check or just pull it back out?????
