I actually thought I was going to get my ass handed to me on this one but I didn't so here it goes.

I got lined up against a 1st gen Lightning (5.8 L ) at a light that had to merge within a 1/8 mile or so.

Well I was in the right (merge lane) and got the jump right when the light dropped, to my amazement the Lightning was ready to go to because he hit it too.

By the top of 1st gear I was only about half a car on him and closing quickly on running out of lane.

By the top of 2nd gear I just barely pulled in front of him and stated to ease over and he was not going to give me any room, trust me !

By 3rd I got over completely (just barely) and had to slow due to traffic ahead. As I am pulling over in front of him I see him giving me the "asshole" look and motioning like why did I have to cut him off. Oh well he got the big thumbs down when I turned off because he was being a asshole after the race.

That was the best race the Mule had in a long time.
