I'm going to go with what you're saying. A new starter is a lot less costly than a new exhaust. The thing about the exhaust that I didn't really buy is the fact that this noise sounds like it's coming from the front, not the back. And my exhaust is def not under warranty anymore, so they would've made a few bucks off of me by replacing it. The guy even looked underneath and was like "oh, you have the really really nice exhaust." Meaning: This is going to cost you. What would you say is a fair price for a new starter?
