actually you can do it, you can get fiberglass kits, and you use cloth to get the smooth contours around the speakers. check out the haynes extreem books in autozone or borders books and music. there are step by step instructions, it's fairly simple.

one more point I forgot to mention, the h22 engine with just minimal boost, about 8psi, ( for which I would reccommend a supercharger) would give you roughly 330hp at the crank. so 290-310whp on a 01 civic would be a fairly sweet daily driver.
