Anyway, the gasket shouldn't be smaller than the ports. It's generally the other way around, and when an item is ported, it's ported to the gasket. No use, and actually bad, to port more than the gasket. What brand gaskets did you get? Do you usually have this issue with gaskets being too small?

Yes I am. I was reffered over here by one of your members that was out here on a business trip. Guess it's a good thing too because my husband and I have plans to move to Tampa in the next year or so.

They are factory gaskets and no this is the first of I'm sure many sr20s we will be building. I have not checked to see if it's larger then the gaskets because the head and gaskets are in 2 different places. I'm really just trying to be prepared because the last thing I need is another snag.
