you may be correct. i'm basing my estimates on several things. first, the b16 i have has 8000 original miles on it...which means it runs extremely well, doesn't burn oil...and has good compression. second, i've been able to slightly pull on new style mustang gt's that i assume are stock (based on this area and looking at the driver...as mustangs are very rarely tweaked around here.) third, this motor is in a 92dx which is pretty light and i have a civic si transmission...which has pretty close gear ratios. also, i have an aem cai and a test pipe...which has made a considerable difference when compared to my previous setup which included a shitty exhaust and restrictive cat.
speculation however, is pointless...and i'll be taking my car to the track in the next few weeks when i have time. then, i'll scan and post my timeslips for everyone to see...as i hate it when people lie.
