also, could be the knock sensor. On factory setups not only does the knock sensor casue the timing to be pulled but it also drop boost. the car will feel liek it falls on it's face completly.

it doesnt happen everytime he drives is what is weird about it also. Only sometimes, yeah the car just like dies or something its really weird. You guys are helping a lot, But i think my brother is gonna take it down to the mitsubishi dealer. thanks TR
