Let me set one thing straight which is pissing everyone off on here, HE WAS NOT A GOOD RIDER, what about his riding makes him a good rider? He been riding for 3 years? So what, I know people who have been driving for 20 years and they still suck at it. Because he can do a wheelie? Any butt sniff with a powerful bike can pull one of those off (some better than others, but to a cop riding out a wheelie or balance points don't mean shit), maybe because he can twist the throttle to elude the cops? Again, any asshat with enough stupidity or motive can do that. Did he have motive? Not really, he would have gotten a wreckless driving ticket at WORST, but probably just a warning about being retarded depending on his attitude toward the cop. Fucking highschoolers is all I have to say.
all that sounds good to say but you and i both know that kid did not charge into the cop. he slowed down and the cop jumped into him.
should he have done a wheelie in front of school... no but how many of you have done them to show off in front of people.(i have not since i haven't even tried one yet..lol) well he was only a high school kid, we all did dumb things when we were kids.... hell i raced in the drivers ed parking lot one day.
shit happens, and some times cops need to be smart enough to know what's going on. these just didn't seem to have a clue what was happening and when balls out. if he didn't go home to his wife and kids that night i say it was his own fault for not being smart enough to preserve his own life by not jumping in front of a moving object........ darwin at its finest

well that cop was smart enough to know it wasn't worth chashing you and risking you killing yourself, him or others. because if i remember right was it 100+ before you saw him and them you ran? i maybe wrong that is was you, to lazy to search but still you get the point. shit happens
bottom line to me is............ kid wanted to look cool to other kids in front of school. cops see him, ih runs (bad idea) cops freak out and all hell breaks loose. people could have been killed.
