thanks for the help, are there any other bikes that are the equal of the cbr and the gixxer ( bikes within the same price range, not the ducatti or bmw's)?
the liter bikes will win in the 1/4 but on a road course with a good rider 600's will keep up. If you have not rode an 04/05 600 try to and that should make up your mind.
