so the acceleration ( 0-60 or 1/4) is neck and neck from the 600 to the 1000, it's a matter of top end speed? of which I don't imagine I'll want too much over 90mph ( well until the will power crumbles and I just have to nail it once.)

thanks for the help, are there any other bikes that are the equal of the cbr and the gixxer ( bikes within the same price range, not the ducatti or bmw's)?
