Yes, the E-Manage is cheaper right out of the box compared to the JWT ECU at $550. However, you will still need to get your car dyno tuned to take full advantage of the GReddy unit. I would be willing to bet that you will spend at least $200 in dyno time to get your car running optimally.
The JWT ECU has a lot of dyno time and research put into it to make your car run reliably and detonation free.
If you feel that the JWT ECU runs a bit rich for your likes, then I would get a S-AFC to fin tune the A/F ratios. If you are wary of spending another $100 to get the ECU rechipped later with new upgrades, don't worry about that. You only need a get the ECU rechipped if you upgrade injectors or your MAF. Even with the GReddy unit, it would still be a good idea to have the car dyno tuned with these same upgrades. So, you will stiill spend $100 for the dyno tuning.
If you want a JWT ECU, I recommend getting the Cobra or Z32 MAF and your larger injectors at the same time. This way, when you want to upgrade the turbo or run more boost, you will not need to send the ECU out again and you will not have to pay another $100.
