Sorry bro, but your mistaken. The pieces on his bike are not legally avialible for sale. Doesn't matter if you have a clean titled frame to swap everything over to. Don't get me wrong, i wouldn't turn someone in for this, but if the lein holder came looking for their bike, or what's left of the bike, they have every legal right to take back whatever theycan prove is theirs. So if you buy the engine and put it in you bike, they take this kid to court and have him tell were all the parts went, then they could come and snatch the engine right out from your bike. More than likely the whole bike would be impounded until they could clear the smoke, then you could go pay the impound fee's and pick up what's left of you bike.
Like i said, i got no problem if someone wants to buy parts off this bike and wouldn't care to tell anyone if they did. However, there was a misconception as to what could be done with this bike, and if the truth wasn't out there it could get nasty. Now knowing full well the ramifications if someone wants to buy a piece from this bike, then that's now on them. That's the reason i said for him to ebay the stuff should the lien company come calling for their bike the likelyhood of them tracking down the bike parts all over the country is slim to none. Where as if the parts are local, and the repo dept has nothing better to do they may actually track down said parts.
Ebay this stuff, or buy full coverage insurance

. good luck
