It's because the profec b spec 2 is a piece of shit. Two of my friends have them on their cars and they're constantly playing with boost settings and having trouble getting the POS to give them some sort of consistent boost level. They'll set it for 14 psi one day and the next day on the same setting they'll get the overboost warning and see it's at 18 psi. I'd recommend moving to a 40 dollar joe p mbc.

Also the fact that boost levels per RPM's is gay as shit also. Boost levels set to MPH is not gay, but RPM's is gay. Once you are past a certain MPH high boost levels should not become a problem, hence boost/mph > boost/rpm. I think you need to research and learn a little more before you try steping up to the 4drwhore. Otherwise next time I'm in valdosta(yes I know where it's at, and actually know quite a few people from there also) I'll have to lay the smack down, AWD style. None of that GAY ASS FWD SHIT.
