I have a friend at work that has an 87 Mustang GT 5.0 auto. He has all kinds of stuff done to the engine, but maybe in the past 6 mos, his car would just stall all of a sudden. Mostly when it got hot, but no real pattern. Anyway, so he changes the ignition module to a holley one (forget the name) and now it doesnt stall at all, but it wont idle. He thinks he may have not tightened the distributer all the way and it may have vibrated around and screwed up the timing (i guess they are hard to get to).. but he hasnt checked that yet. Are ignition modules a common problem on these cars? Or maybe something else? (TPS, AIS) Any common fixes? Thanks again guys! You pwn!
