Try to check for spark straight out of the coil, if good, go through Slash's list, if not try the following...

The ignition system is pretty simple. If you have a known good dizzy and coil, your ignitor and or wiring are the only two to worry about. The 4age black top ignitors will operate with or with-out a functioning engine computer.

If you have the 4 pulse sine wave from the pick-up coil in the dizzy to the ignitor, a good power from the black with orange wire from the round five wire connector, a properly powered coil with a good trigger wire from the ignitor, and a properly grounded ignitor, then the engine should have spark or the ignitor is bad.
